2015 in a Nutshell

After a longg break let’s start the year off right.

Live and Grow

While I wasn’t exactly busy crossing off things on my bucket list, I was doing a lot of learning, growing and maturing.

So much happened in 2015 that has shaped me into the person I am today. I learned so much that I would otherwise not have experienced until much later in life. I learned to become more independent and reliable. I learned that distance does absolutely make the heart grow fonder and that setting goals and working your ass off will help you get to your next milestone.

In our life we have the ability and opportunity to make choices and use our judgment to come to the decision that works best for us. 2015 was definitely a year filled with lots of learning. Most importantly, I learned to let go of the negative things that did not serve me; whether it was people, mindsets or habits.

I want to thank everyone who has contributed to my life, friends who were there to support me or give me advice, friends to hear me rant and vent, and those who were there when I needed them the most. Even though I am far away, nothing beats talking to a friend on the phone, when face to face isn’t an option.

So to ALL of you, I Thank you. Thank you for putting up with me when I was difficult and stubborn and inconsiderate. I see how I used to act in others and am so grateful that I have FINALLY matured and learned to take action and responsibility for my life….and the blessings just keep coming.

Concluding 2015

The best part of 2015 has to be when my loving boyfriend of over 7 years proposed on new years eve. It was very unexpected, spontaneous and such a happy moment that I will remember FOREVER.

We are still deciding when we would like to get married but are looking forward to spending time with friends and family and experiencing the ups and downs of planning the biggest day of our lives.

I have slowly realized that weddings are more for family then it is for the actual bride and groom; it is a chance for family and relatives to reunite and make memories together, a time where friends come together to have fun and a day to be cherished by the bride and groom that is filled with love, happiness, laughter and even some tears.

You are too blessed to be stressed so stay strong and beautiful!
