Thankful and Blessed Always!

Thank you!

I’ve been thinking about how blessed I am lately. I am surrounded by a strong group of family and friends that support me. Especially my loving fiance, Sean who pushes me to be a better person and my sister, Janice who is always looking out for me. I can’t help but say thank you and be grateful for all my experiences good and bad that have shaped me into the person I am today.

I just wanted to share this poem that I came up with:

Forever Grateful

I am so grateful for everything you have given me
Although at times it may be really hard to see
In trying times I just want to give up the fight
But in the end I know you’ll show me what’s right
For each experience and event teaches us something new
Something that makes me more thankful to you
Life is filled with lessons that we all have to learn
I’ve made so many mistakes that I’m feeling the burn
In times of doubt, I have to believe that a way will be shown
And then sometime in the future I’ll realize how much I’ve grown
Everyday I take some time to plan and clear my mind
So that when I start my day I’m not going in blind
They say time flies when you’re having lots of fun
Some days im so focused I can’t believe the days done
It’s my life and up to me to do what I need to do
No one else can do it for me and same goes for you
I have to say thank you and take the good with the bad
The emotions, the love, the happy and the sad
Thankful and blessed in so many ways
Thank you today, tomorrow and always
I’m now fully committed to improving myself
For my family, my future and loving thyself.

What are you grateful for?

Stay strong and beautiful!
